Siegal Lifelong Learning Program to resume travel programs in May

SIEGAL LIFELONG LEARNING PROGRAM TO RESUME TRAVEL PROGRAMS IN MAY | November 11, 2021

Travel is back for the Siegal Lifelong Learning Program. Beginning in May 2022, Case Western Reserve University alumni and friends can choose from a variety of trips to national and international destinations with CWRU faculty members as the guides.

One trip planned is “Greece: Beaches and Ruins,” which will begin May 15 and be led by Rachel Sternberg, associate professor of classics. Travelers will: 

  • Explore important sites from ancient Greece, including the Acropolis and Agora of Athens, The Temple of Poseidon at Sounion, Delphi, Corinth and Mycenae;
  • Enjoy museums, including the National Archaeological Museum and the new Acropolis Museum; and 
  • Relax on beaches, including Matala, Hania, Paros and others.

Another trip will take travelers to the Scottish highlands and Norwegian fjords. This trip will begin June 2 and be led by Sunniva Collins, associate professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering.
