The Office of Energy and Sustainability recently hosted Just a S.E.C.: Lightning Talks on Sustainability, Energy and Climate, a lunch event that brought together students, faculty, staff and community members for a series of fast-paced, three-minute presentations highlighting sustainability work across Case Western Reserve University. Formerly known as the Big Green Event, the program showcased a wide range of initiatives spanning energy, waste, research and campus engagement.

As part of the event, this year’s Sustainability Champions were recognized for their outstanding leadership and commitment to advancing sustainability at CWRU. The Sustainability Champion Awards celebrate individuals who go above and beyond to drive meaningful impact and inspire others through their work, research and service.
