Susan Dominguez, a SAGES teaching fellow, will give a lecture at the next Social Justice Research Lunch Series event. Dominguez will present “The ‘Tiny Horrors’ of Cultural Genocide: Indigenous Children in Residential and Boarding Schools, 1870-1970” Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room A13 (on the ground floor). In the lecture, Dominguez will discuss a century of North American federal policy that took children from families for years at a time, creating conditions of PTSD and genetically embedded intergenerational trauma. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lunch. Drinks and desserts will be provided. RSVP to socialjustice@case.edu. Learn more about upcoming Social Justice Institute events.
