University Technology ([U]Tech) Software Center has upgraded Symantec Endpoint Protection and updated the annual license for SPSS 24 Premium Campus Edition.
Symantec Endpoint Protection
Symantec Endpoint Protection has been upgraded to version 14 MP2. Symantec Endpoint Protection is required for all faculty and staff at Case Western Reserve University and is available at no additional cost to the campus community. It is important that users keep this software updated to protect and secure their data.

SPSS 24 Premium Campus Edition
The new annual license for SPSS 24 Premium Campus Edition will expire July 31, 2018.
SPSS 24 Premium Campus Edition now is available to all faculty, staff and students at discounted rates. Faculty and staff can purchase licenses using a department Speedtype Account for $110 and students can purchase licenses using a personal credit card for $83.
The Windows version contains SPSS 24, AMOS 24, Sample Power and Visualization Designer. The Mac version contains SPSS 24 only.
IBM will upgrade SPSS and AMOS to version 25 in August 2017. They will be available on the [U]Tech Software Center in late August 2017. If possible, users are encouraged not to purchase SPSS 24 if interested in SPSS 25 because users will not be able to upgrade from version 24 to 25 for free.
Both SPSS 24 and SPSS 25 will work through July 31, 2018.
