Susan Helper, the Frank Tracy Carlton Professor of Economics, will be a co-director of a new program looking at innovation, prosperity and opportunity through the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research.
Helper was one of 12 applicants selected to participate in this program, which will look at how innovation policies affect who has opportunities to innovate and who benefits, and what conditions help or hinder innovation that is beneficial for all.
