Mary B. Sasmaz, assistant professor of accountancy at Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management, was selected as a recipient of the 2026 Ernst & Young Foundation Innovation in Accounting Education Award.
Sasmaz and five co-authors were recognized for developing “Scoreboard for Excel,” software designed to enhance active learning, automate grading, and reduce cheating in accounting education.
