Amid inflation, consumers still spending for holidays
WKYC: Somali Ghosh, associate professor at Weatherhead School of Management, weighed in on the effect high inflation will have on holiday shopping this season. “Retailers, about 75% of them are expecting 40% of their annual income this holiday season,” she said, “so they'll be vying for the customers’ wallets, so in doing that they will be giving deep discounts.”
