What is experiential education?

Experiential education at Case Western Reserve University is an innovative approach to education that emphasizes hands-on training and includes internships, practicums, co-ops, research, volunteering and studying abroad.

As part of the student experience, we encourage all students to engage in some form of experiential learning. There’s even a central database online where you can discover opportunities sponsored by CWRU that match your goals and interests. In fact, 98% of CWRU students participate in some form of hands-on learning!
