About the Program

A fundamental understanding of business begins with a Master of Accountancy degree from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management. Whether you’re hoping to land a position at a top accounting firm or have an interest in investment banking, private equity, or government, this one- to two-year program will help you build critical-thinking skills to set you up for a rewarding—and lucrative—career.

What to Expect

As one of the top 10 accounting programs in the country for our size*, we offer an innovative curriculum that stays up-to-date with business best practices.

We offer two tracks to customize the program to your interests: our Professional Track and an Analytics Track. Students who choose to pursue the Analytics Track will come away with a STEM-designated Master of Accountancy degree—among the first of its kind.

Our innovative curriculum goes beyond a strong foundation in accounting to include corporate reporting and analysis, computer programming, statistics, predictive modeling, data visualization, and more, giving you a competitive edge in today's job market.

Our Master of Accountancy program produces leaders who go on to be trailblazing problem solvers at the Big Four in Cleveland and beyond. In fact, nearly 100% of our domestic students land jobs right out of school.

Beyond the Classroom

We keep our Master of Accountancy program small on purpose so you can build lasting relationships with your classmates and professors. And those relationships last far beyond graduation. Our alumni stay connected to our program by serving as active mentors who will guide you through your experience at Case Western Reserve University and as you enter into your career.

Our vast alumni network includes graduates who work in 23 countries on five continents. And nearly 100% of our alumni go on to secure jobs within months of graduation.

Plus, we have an award-winning chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, an accounting fraternity. In addition to the mentorship program we have in place, participating in this academic fraternity gives you another opportunity to support your professional growth through networking.
