Master of Business Administration

About the Program

Cultivate your leadership skills through Weatherhead School of Management’s Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA). In our residency-based program, you’ll join a small, diverse cohort of up to 35 students—all of whom have a wealth of professional experience—and learn concepts such as emotional intelligence, managing by designing, and experiential learning models from world-renowned faculty. Ranked #1 in Ohio and #11 in the U.S. by Fortune, Case Western Reserve University’s EMBA program produces graduates who lead organizations with exceptional confidence and competence—enabling their teams to function more effectively.

What to Expect

This program’s residency-based format makes this degree possible no matter where you’re located. Over 20 months—and 16, three-day on-campus residencies—you’ll take a wide variety of courses from the faculty who developed some of the leadership principles you’ll study, such as appreciative inquiry, intentional change theory, and sustainable value. Each course is specifically designed to prepare you to excel as a business leader in your current organization or a new company.

Students come into the EMBA program with an average of 15 years of professional experience. But they leave having gone through a series of courses on how to lead change within themselves, their teams, their organizations and society.

Mastering your impact in these four areas will forever influence your career—and the careers of those you lead.

I knew that an EMBA from Case Western Reserve wasn’t only going to give me the skillset to control my destiny, but it would also open up more doors.
