Master of Social Work student Grazia (Grace) DiPierro successfully presented her poster at the Ohio chapter of the National Association of Social Workers’ annual conference in November.

Her poster was based on her recent publication, “That he won’t experience life like he should: Exploring worries of family caregivers of transition-age autistic youth,” which was co-authored by fellow Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences colleagues Sarah Balser, Caroline Duke Chaikin, Karen Ishler, Rita Obeid and Kristen Berg.

DiPierro is the director of programming for the Mandel Council for Student Leadership and a Survivor Link and AmeriCorps Fellow.
