Danielle Lanning, MSSA, LISW-S is a research associate at the Substance Use Disorder Center of Excellence at Case Western Reserve University. She obtained her B.A. from Walsh University in psychology and sociology where she went on to obtain her masters in psychology from Capella University. Ms. Lanning is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, having obtained her MSSA.
Ms. Lanning has over 13 years of experience working in community mental health. She began her career working at a residential facility assisting individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness throughout Lake County. Ms. Lanning then transitioned to working as a Supported Employment Specialist and moved into management. She implemented evidence-based practices and maintained a standard of excellence throughout the state. She most recently worked as the director of integrated dual services overseeing the dual diagnosis team, transitional youth team, supported employment team and adult residential facility.
She enjoys traveling, baking and is an avid concert goer but most of all enjoys spending time with her two children and partner.
