The Dartmouth Assertive Community Treatment Scale (DACTS fidelity scale) helps organizations implement Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), the evidence-based practice. ACT improves outcomes for people with severe mental illness who are most at risk of homelessness, psychiatric crisis and hospitalization, and involvement in the criminal justice system.
This version of DACTS and DACTS Protocol was edited by the CEBP in collaboration with original authors of the fidelity scale. This version of DACTS is based upon the ACT Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) KIT produced and published by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) in 2008.
The CEBP uses the DACTS and TMACT fidelity scales when providing consultation services to organizations that are implementing ACT.
