ESGR is a US Department of Defense (DOD) program that was established in 1972 to promote cooperation and understanding between civilian employers and their National Guard and Reserve employees. ESGR develops and promotes supportive work environments for service members in the Reserve through outreach, recognition, and education. ESGR assists in the resolution of conflicts that might arise between employers and employees who have military commitments.
