The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is an agency of the US Department of Health and Human Services. HRSA is the primary federal agency dedicated to improving healthcare for people who are geographically isolated and economically or medically vulnerable. HRSA programs help people who need high-quality primary healthcare; people who live with HIV/AIDS; pregnant women; and mothers. HRSA supports the training of health professionals and the placement of providers in areas where they are needed most. HRSA also supports improvements in healthcare delivery.
