The Service Members, Veterans, and Their Families Technical Assistance (SMVF-TA) Center is an initiative of the US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The SMVF-TA works with states and territories to strengthen their behavioral health systems for service members, veterans, and their families. The Center provides technical-assistance support to military and civilian interagency teams in states and territories that are working to strengthen behavioral health systems. Technical assistance is also provided to SAMHSA stakeholders and grantees for issues related to behavioral health.
