Recruitment

Fraternity and sorority recruitment is open to all individuals. If you have any specific questions you can connect with the Greek Life staff via email at greeklife@case.edu or stop into the office to speak with a staff member and/or a student leader within the Interfraternity Congress and Panhellenic Council.

IFC Recruitment Dates

Fraternity recruitment occurs at the start of each fall and spring semester. Each fraternity creates their own calendar of events in which a PNM can attend during the first three weeks of the semester. Some chapters may continue their recruitment process throughout the semester as well.

Learn more about our 15 fraternities and the events they are hosting during recruitment by checking out the Interfraternity Congress and Panhellenic Council website.

PHC Recruitment Dates

Fall COB is only open to returning students and a transfer student who has not yet signed a MRABA. COB may last for the duration of the semester and will depend on the policies of each organization. Formal Recruitment takes place during the first two weekends of the spring semester.

Learn more about our 10 sororities and the events they are hosting during recruitment by checking out the Interfraternity Congress and Panhellenic Council website.

In addition to the IFC and PHC community, Greek Life also supports the National Pan-Hellenic Council (Divine Nine or historically black Greek lettered organizations) that are on campus and/or have members in the city-wide chapters. Below you will find a few key terms that you may come across when working with students.

National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) Recruitment Dates

Typically NPHC organizations host informational sessions for individuals to learn about the organization. Intake often is for non-first year students. Throughout the fall semester there may be informational sessions on campus or at a nearby Cleveland university.
