Welcome to the Network: Weatherhead Honors Its Newest Alumni

Alumni gathered for reception in the lower level of the PBL Building.

On May 16, the Weatherhead School of Management hosted a memorable event in the iconic Peter B. Lewis Building to welcome the Class of 2025 into its vibrant alumni network.

The evening brought together graduating students, faculty, and members of the alumni family, with highlights including remarks from Dean Andrew Medvedev and commencement speaker Joyce Erony (WRC ‘81), founder and managing partner at Amzak Health.

Graduates received a commemorative stole, symbolizing their transition from student to alum. With 24,000 Weatherhead alumni worldwide, the ceremony marked the start of a lifelong connection to a dynamic, purpose-driven network.

Medvedev encouraged students to stay connected to Weatherhead —to recharge, gain fresh insights and continue learning.

“Welcome to the club,” he said.

Reflecting on the transition from student to alum, Ankur Stein, graduating from the EMBA program, shared: “That moment of receiving my Weatherhead alumni stole reminded me that while my EMBA journey may be ending, a new chapter of lifelong learning and connection is just beginning,” said Stein. “I’m honored to join such an incredible alumni community.”

From champagne toasts to shared aspirations, the evening was a fitting sendoff for a class ready to make its mark on the world.
