Aspen Family Business Group (AFBG) is a nonprofit organization providing free resources to family businesses. In particular, under Resources, there is a Toolbox with example worksheets for family meetings, succession planning, decision-making, etc. The site is managed by family business professionals who wants to empower all family businesses to increase their chances of growth and survival from one generation to the next, regardless of their financial resources.

Familybusiness.org is a excellent, free resource on all topics related to family business. It is fully funded by the Shulze Family Foundation, which was establish by Best Buy founder and former CEO Richard M. Schulze. It is a curated site of articles and videos supported by academic research to ensure its practicality, accuracy and relevancy to family businesses.

Family Enterprise USA is a non-partisan organization that promotes family-owned business creation, growth, viability and sustainability by advocating for family owned businesses with Congress in Washington, D.C. Their site includes key articles, research, legislation and results of their annual family business survey.
