A Commitment to Innovation

With cutting-edge facilities and programs dedicated to help make startups successful, Case Western Reserve promotes a true culture of innovation.

The Larry Sears and Sally Zlotnick Sears think[box] is Case Western Reserve’s world-class public-access makerspace. Spanning seven stories and 50,000 square feet, the innovation center is a complete ecosystem for venture creation. The space includes everything from design and ideation resources to prototyping and fabrication equipment, as well as the legal and business expertise needed to launch a startup.

Plus, offices like CWRU LaunchNET, the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer help students, faculty and staff turn ideas into reality.

More than 121,000 strong, Case Western Reserve alumni span the globe—and their accomplishments are impressive.

Case Western Reserve’s 267-acre campus is located in the heart of University Circle, one of Cleveland’s most energetic and culturally robust communities. Just minutes away from downtown, University Circle comprises 550 park-like acres in a vibrant urban environment. Of the 40 cultural, medical, educational, religious, and social-service institutions that call University Circle home, Case Western Reserve is the largest.
