Please join Ohio’s senior United States Senator Sherrod Brown for a conversation about how studying the humanities prepared him for a career in public service.
Senator Brown majored in the humanities before going on to serve his community in the Ohio House of Representatives, and to serve Ohio as Secretary of State. From 1993 to 2007, he represented Ohio’s 13th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. He has served as Ohio’s United States Senator since 2007, and as senator has held more than 250 community roundtables across Ohio’s 88 counties. He is married to Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Connie Schultz, and they reside in Cleveland.
Refreshments will be served.
