Jennifer Marer, Baker-Nord Scholar and Literary Cleveland Fellow, has helped organize Ethical Representation in Writing on Sunday, July 18 at 7:00 pm. This event is part of Literary Cleveland Inkubator Online Writing Conference. The Ethical Representation in Writing panel explores how to create diverse representation without stealing the spotlight away from other authors that belong to those underrepresented groups. Writer Quartez Harris, illustrator Julia Kuo, nonfiction author and DEI leader Dr. Deborah L. Plummer, and author Abby L. Vandiver will discuss ethical boundaries in different genres and identity groups with Inkubator Fellow Jennifer Marer. The event is co-sponsored by the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities and Loganberry Books.
