The George S. Traub Memorial Undergraduate Research Fund ("the Traub") was established to support undergraduate students who are pursuing declared majors offered by the College of Arts and Sciences related to the history, politics, public policy, or economics of the Northern Ohio region.
Any student receiving these funds shall be designated a George S. Traub Memorial Fellow.
George S. Traub was an Adelbert College graduate of the class of 1929 who managed his own business, the Traub Box Company. The College of Arts and Sciences is grateful to his widow, Mrs. Nina Traub, and his sons Ron and Willard for establishing the fund. Part of the endowment also comes from the Traub Fund at the Jewish Community Federation.
