Provides leadership, management, and direction to develop strategies and execute priority projects for the Case School of Engineering.
Lauren serves as an advisor to the Dean and manages strategic projects on behalf of the Case School of Engineering.
Key Job Functions
- The Assistant Dean advises the Dean and senior leadership on matters of school-wide importance, sets priorities and executes strategy for internal and external community engagement, and facilitates coordination among senior leadership in achieving the school’s goals in alignment with the university’s strategic plan.
- Leads initiation of new academic programs under direction of Dean and relevant Department Chairs that are consistent with the school's overall strategy.
- Works with faculty and staff in concert with the Associate Dean of Research Administration to envision, implement, oversee and direct strategic business, partnership and major grant development for growing the school’s research enterprise.
- Represent the school in government, alumni, and community relations events, and support revenue-generating initiatives.
