Bethany Rohr, MD joined University Hospitals and Case Western Reserve University in October 2019 as an Assistant Professor in Dermatology. She is double board certified in dermatology and dermatopathology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She studied French and Biology at Wittenberg University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with departmental honors and a Bachelor of Arts in French. She earned her medical degree from the University Of Toledo College Of Medicine and Life Sciences. Dr. Rohr obtained her dermatology and dermatopathology training at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA following her internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor medical society and the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She is a member of University Hospitals’ Cutaneous Oncology Tumor board and plays a key role in the discussion and management of complicated lymphoma, melanoma, and other rare cutaneous malignant neoplasm cases.

Dr. Rohr practices dermatopathology, where she interprets a wide variety of biopsy and excision specimens including benign skin growths, skin cancers, infectious diseases, autoimmune diseases, and inflammatory conditions. She sees general dermatology patients at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Two Chagrin Highlands. Her interests include medical education, cutaneous oncology, and dermato-entomology and arachnology. She enjoys teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and gives the second year CWRU medical student Dermatology and Dermatopathology lecture. She teaches interactive dermatopathology and general dermatology lectures to Dermatology residents 1-2 times monthly and serves on the departmental resident advisory committee.
