Dr. Gisele Pereira is invited to present at Brazilian Society of Radiation Oncology Annual Meeting held in Joao Pessoa Brazil in June 2016. The presentations for physicians and physicists are regarding the use of MRI for dose calculation in radiotherapy and Multiple isocenter VMAT/IMRT. The titles, in English, are the use of pseudo-CT derived from MRI for dose calculation in radiotherapy and IMRT/VMAT with multiple isocenters for large fields. The use of MRI for dose calculation is one of QIL research areas and also part Dr. Pereira’s PhD dissertation. Also, she implemented the new protocol, multiple isocenter VMAT which has been used the past few years at UH Hospitals - Seidman Cancer Center for total marrow irradiation.
