Three paper presentations this year.  

 


AI was all the buzz at the meeting and that the QIL is in the thick of things. During the meeting, we had an oral presentation that described our novel approach for autocontouring MR data for RTP (shown on the middle).  The room was filled to capacity and even overflowing with people standing outside the door.

The QIL is active in machine learning What is Machine Learning? It is a subfield of computer science wherein computers learn to complete tasks for which they have not been explicitly programmed. One of our applications is the creation of CT images from MR data. The CT images are then used for attenuation correction for PET/MR systems
