2017 flexible spending accounts contribution limit rises to $2,600

Employees will be able to contribute more into their health care flexible spending accounts (FSA) in 2017, when the FSA contribution limit rises to $2,600. The IRS announced the change after the 2017 Benelect Open Enrollment materials were printed. The open enrollment kit states the maximum allowable contribution as $2,550. If you wish to increase your annual contribution the new maximum amount of $2,600 for 2017, you will need to make a new election through HCM during Open Enrollment.
