Andrea Silva, an undergraduate student in Case School of Engineering's Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (EMAE), has been selected for Aviation Week’s prestigious 2026 “20 Twenties” class. The program honors outstanding students from aerospace-bound STEM fields who demonstrate academic excellence, innovative research and a strong commitment to the aviation and aerospace industries.
Silva’s selection reflects both her individual achievements and the strength of the EMAE program. Working under the guidance of her advisor, Paul Barnhart, PhD, she has distinguished herself through her coursework and research, showing the initiative and focus that mark future leaders in aerospace engineering.
