The Office of the Provost at Case Western Reserve University, through the AI Task Force, has launched the AI Teaching & Learning Innovation Grant Pilot Program. This program aims to support faculty and staff interested in testing or developing uses of AI connected to teaching, learning and educational activities.
Applicants may request up to $2,500 for pilot projects involving areas such as:
- Classroom teaching;
- Experiential learning;
- Student support;
- Assessment;
- Instructional design; or
- Educational workflows.
Proposals should outline the:
- Project idea;
- Educational need or opportunity;
- Participants;
- Pilot approach;
- Evaluation plan;
- Timeline;
- Budget; and
- Potential broader applicability at CWRU.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until available funds are exhausted.
CWRU faculty and staff interested in exploring a small-scale AI teaching or learning pilot are encouraged to review the program details and submit a proposal.
