WFMZ: Andrew Shoffstal, assistant professor of biomedical engineering, discussed technology that could allow for the treatment of neuromodulation therapies without medically invasive surgeries. “This electrically conductive ‘goo’, as we call it, could be injected into the body and it would form an electrically conductive interface with nerve tissue,” he said.
