Classic Quizzes will no longer be available for creation in Canvas starting during the 2027–28 academic year. In preparation, Case Western Reserve University faculty must migrate all existing quizzes and build any new assessments in New Quizzes.
To help with this transition, resources are available for faculty to learn more about using New Quizzes and migrating existing quizzes into the new tool:
- CWRU New Quizzes Overview: A detailed overview for using New Quizzes, including considerations and limitations to know about when moving to New Quizzes.
- New Quizzes Guides: Step-by-step instructions for how to use all of the features of New Quizzes and migrate existing quizzes.
- New Quizzes Video Series: Focused videos that quickly demonstrate how to use New Quizzes.
CWRU faculty are also encouraged to keep an eye out for updates on the New Quizzes transition webpage, which acts as a hub to provide resources related to New Quizzes.
