Discover what’s new at One to One Fitness Center

With the 2026-27 academic year approaching, One to One Fitness Center is introducing new ways for members of the Case Western Reserve University community to connect, explore the facility and get involved.

Read on to explore what’s new at the center.

Introducing the new One to One Fitness Center app

The One to One Fitness Center is transitioning to a new mobile app powered by Smart Health Club, offering members more ways to connect with the fitness center and manage their wellness experience.

The app, which began a soft launch with existing members in July, will expand beyond the current platform’s primary focus on membership payments. Members will be able to:

  • Sign up for fitness classes and events;
  • Chat directly with trainers;
  • Stream live fitness classes; and
  • Access select on-demand classes.

The new app is designed to make it easier for members to stay connected and engaged with One to One Fitness Center offerings—all from their mobile device.

Please note: This is not branded as a Case Western Reserve University app.

Try One to One Fitness Center for free

Members of the CWRU community are invited to kick off the semester with free access to the One to One Fitness Center. It also provides a chance for graduate students to explore and try out the facility before the end of the drop/add period, as graduate student memberships are op-out.

Free access offerings will take place:

  • Aug. 17–23: CWRU and affiliate students, including students from CWRU, Cleveland Institute of Art and Cleveland Institute of Music, as well as medical residents at University Hospitals, Cleveland Clinic and the VA.
  • Aug. 24–30: CWRU and affiliate ID holders, including employees and students.

Attend the center’s Open House Cookout

On Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., One to One Fitness will host its annual Open House Cookout. The event, which generally boasts around 800 attendees, will feature:

  • Catering from Bon Appétit Management Company;
  • Informational tables with campus partners and local animal rescue organizations;
  • Chair massages, and more.

Due to construction, this year’s event will take place by the wind turbine.
