Engineering’s Alp Sehirlioglu receives U.S-Israel Binational Science Foundation Research Award

Alp Sehirlioglu, associate professor of materials science and engineering, received the U.S-Israel Binational Science Foundation Research Award earlier this month.

The topic of research is “Depolarizing ferroelectrics at the nanoscale for augmenting macroscale piezoelectricity at a broad temperature range.”

The proposal was completed in collaboration with Yachin Ivry from Technion in Israel.
