Industry 4.0 and the race to save small manufacturing in America
WKSU: Robert Gao, the Cady Staley Professor of Engineering and chair of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, and Ken Loparo, the Nord Professor of Engineering, discussed how technology is forcing the manufacturing sector to evolve. Gao and Loparo are principal investigators on a federal planning grant to help manufacturers on Cleveland’s west side adapt to the Internet of Things.
