Free and confidential services are available for students of any gender who have been affected by sexual and/or gender-based violence, including—but not limited to—sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking and sexual harassment.
Megan Long is the university’s student advocate for gender-based violence prevention.
Services Long provides include:
- Short-term trauma-informed counseling;
- Safety planning;
- Navigating on-campus and community resources; and
- Providing support during formal reporting processes.
- Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2 to 4 p.m. at UCS in Sears Library Building, Room 220;
- Tuesdays from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248; and
- Thursdays from 1 to 5 p.m. at the LGBT Center in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 179.
- Mondays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248;
