Binge or excessive drinking can derail a healthy lifestyle. For those who want to better control their use of alcohol, LivingSmart may be the answer. This online program, free to benefits-eligible CWRU faculty and staff, offers a way to overcome the need to drink. Based in cognitive behavioral therapy, LivingSmart helps expose false beliefs about why we drink and helps destroy self-defeating thoughts about drinking behaviors. This completely confidential program can help participants quit drinking altogether or simply achieve moderation. It consists of 12 video-based sessions, split into short segments. The classes can be completed any time on a PC, tablet or smartphone. Gain control over alcohol with LivingSmart from Selfhelpworks.
