Last month, President Barbara R. Snyder announced a Friday early release program for university staff in June and July. In a time of financial constraints that limit available raise amounts, the initiative represents an effort to demonstrate the university’s appreciation of the extensive contributions employees make to Case Western Reserve all year long. The administration continues to seek additional ways to recognize staff, and also hopes to be able to share new efforts for faculty in the near future.
In the weeks since the announcement, individual school and university offices have received additional questions about how the program will work. Below are some of the most common inquiries, along with university responses. If the answers below do not address all questions, please refer to the original announcement at thedaily.case.edu/news/university-to-launch-summer-early-release-program/ Those who still have additional questions can contact Carolyn Gregory, vice president for Human Resources.
