Human Resources offers reminder on June payroll form submission cutoff

The Department of Human Resources offers supervisors at Case Western Reserve University a reminder that Wednesday, July 1, at 5 p.m. is the last day to approve time in HCM for all exempt and non-exempt staff and student employees for fiscal year 2026. 

Each supervisor is responsible for maintaining and approving records of actual time worked, including both regular and overtime hours and recorded sick and vacation time. Timely supervisor approval assures that non-exempt staff and student employees are paid accurately and on time.

Approving time after the payroll cutoff date can cause issues such as:

  • Delay in overtime pay processing;
  • Overpayments to staff with unpaid leave; and
  • Unprocessed sick and/or vacation time, causing inaccurate leave balances.
