Join Kelvin Smith Library for a panel of local foodies and culinary writers July 14

As part of its “Epicurean Adventures” exhibit, Kelvin Smith Library will host a panel discussion titled “Food, Forum, Fun,” Thursday, July 14, at 5:30 p.m. in the library’s Dampeer Room. The panel is composed of local foodies and culinary writers Elaine Cicora, David Farkas and Mary Sweeney. They will talk about:
  • How food journalism has changed in light of technology;
  • How gender plays into food documentation,
  • Changes in food and hospitality industry; and
  • Their experiences related to food memories.
The “Epicurean Adventures” exhibit offers a look at the evolution of cookbooks and food-related texts as documents of history, culture, gender and sustainability. Those interested in attending the panel discussion should email ksl-mail@case.edu.
