Congress passes war powers measure for first time, breaking with Trump over Iran
BBC News: Jonathan Entin, the David L. Brennan Professor Emeritus of Law, said the congressional vote should not be overstated as a sign of a lasting Republican break with President Trump. While some lawmakers may seek to demonstrate independence ahead of midterm elections, Entin noted that strong Republican support for Trump limits how far many candidates are willing to challenge him.
