How 2 new court rulings could impact SNAP recipients

WEWS: Robert Fischer, the Grace Longwell Coyle Professor in Civil Society and director of the Center on Poverty and Community Development at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, said two federal court rulings have paused the government’s plan to halt SNAP benefits, though the scope remains uncertain. “It’s worded as if it is a nationwide stoppage… so at least on its face it looks like it will allow SNAP benefits to continue.”
