Florida Today: Ryan Marino, associate professor at the School of Medicine and toxicologist, suggested that the decrease in the number of cocaine deaths hints that the drug might be being cut with something else. "The drugs might contain xylazine instead of fentanyl, and that might be what's causing the drop in overdoses," said Marino.
