Shiv S. Verma, a research associate in the Department of Urology, was recently awarded the American Association for Cancer Research Scholar-in-Training Award for his research on a plasma-based microRNA biomarker panel for prostate cancer diagnosis. Verma’s award is sponsored by Stan Divorskyi and Nancy Staisey.
