Adults with ADHD live shorter lives than those without a diagnosis, a new study finds
NPRMax Wiznitzer, professor at the School of Medicine, weighed in on a new study published in the British Journal of Psychiatry linking ADHD to shorter lifespans—with men living seven years less and women nine. “It’s not the ADHD, it’s the impact,” he said. “If you treat the ADHD, you lessen the risks."
