WKYC: Tom Baum, the simulation manager and director of flight simulation operations and programming at Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, showed how he applies special effects to give mannequins realistic trauma wounds to give his nursing students a better idea of what they could encounter in the field. “I’d rather they have an abnormal reaction with the mannequin than a real patient,” he said.
