Are we in for a prolonged government shutdown?

WWL New Orleans: Justin Buchler, associate professor of political science at the College of Arts and Sciences, said this year’s government shutdown looks familiar but with “a few key twists.” Unlike past standoffs, Democrats—not Republicans—are demanding extras, namely Obamacare subsidies. “By my consistent rule,” he said, “the side insisting on something beyond a clean funding bill is responsible—so this time, it’s the Democrats.”
