Religious studies’ Deepak Sarma publishes research findings related to psychedelics and drug policy
In a recent publication, Deepak Sarma, PhD, professor and Inaugural Distinguished Scholar in the Public Humanities in the Department of Religious Studies at Case Western Reserve University, addressed issues related to psychedelics and drug policy.
At CWRU, Sarma also has a secondary appointment as a professor of bioethics. Beyond campus, they serve as an affiliated researcher of the Psychedelic Use, Law, and Spiritual Experience (PULSE) at the Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology, and Bioethics at Harvard Law School.
