Religious studies’ Timothy Beal delivers baccalaureate address at Lehigh University
Earlier in May, Timothy Beal, PhD, the Florence Harkness Professor of Religion and interim chair in the Department of Religious Studies at Case Western Reserve University, gave the baccalaureate address at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
In his address, titled “Deep hunger and deep gladness: Vocational design cues,” Beal explored AI, ethics and the role of higher education in shaping a just and sustainable future.
