Save the date for the 2019 Cancer Disparities Symposium; submit abstracts now

Join fellow researchers, clinicians and community leaders at the third annual Cancer Disparities Symposium, “Eliminating Cancer Disparities: Staying the Course toward Collective Impact,” to be held Friday, March 1, at Tinkham Veale University Center. This event will showcase cutting-edge research, with a focus on reducing and eliminating disparities in cancer, going from bench to bedside to community and back. The 2018 symposium attracted 200 individuals, and promoted the exchange of ideas and collaborative opportunities among scientists, clinicians, government and community representatives.

Call for abstracts

The Case Comprehensive Cancer Center invites multidisciplinary researchers, community agencies and organizations to submit abstracts for presentation at the symposium. Abstracts will be divided into two tracks: scientific research and community programs. Meritorious abstracts will be selected for oral presentations. Students who submit an abstract can register for the symposium for free. Students should submit their abstract to caseccc-ocdr@case.edu before registering. They will then receive a discount code via email to be entered on the registration form. Abstracts must be submitted via email to caseccc-ocdr@case.edu. The deadline to submit has been extended to Dec. 21 at 5 p.m. EST.
